Mutual Aid documents the experiences of a young Paramedic intern form Los Angeles (Jeremiah Bush) as he leaves his home in sunny California, and goes to work and train in rural Louisiana. His southern host for this Chronicles of EMS adventure is Natalie Quebodeaux, a paramedic born and raised in southwest Louisiana. Jeremiah will face the Cajun culture shock, intense humidity, the gulfs hurricane season, and the unique challenges of rural EMS. After having worked in Metropolitan Los Angeles his whole career, Mutual Aid is a classic “Fish out of water” story, where big city medicine meets small town ambulance. Together Jeremiah and Natalie will learn about each others EMS systems, educate the industry and the public of the challenges facing EMS and Health care, and share an adventure of a life time.
